Good Day, He said, sitting on a rock,
a sign in hands on feet.
Good Day Friend, I replied.
He then motioned I take a seat.
His lips now pursed then he stated,
“I am from the Parallax Verse.”
He signaled me closer, and whispered,
words for me to rehearse.
“Up is right, and down for plight,
left beneath a blessed Sea.
Let us shift from blind to Light,
with Yah one needs agree.

can value the souls delight.
In ebb of tide the Sea exhales,
Heaven holds a misty sight.
What is this, some pondering,
at a sage’s hand, a sign?
I give you beauty and dust,
a much less sorrowful pine.
Let it be, oh let it be,
please don’t grudge this Fruit or Tree;
Breath and sigh, live or die,
no more of pride to be.
You give, you live, for butter on toast,
out the window cars pass by.
That Sun sets too soon for most;
how much does is cost to lie?
